This classical Agatha Christie thriller follows the traditional Christie storyline. It starts with a murder committed on a river cruiser on the Nile and as usual all the passengers on the boat all have motives to have killed the victim.
After examination of their alibi’s, the culprit is finally caught by the superior observation and reasoning skills of one of the protagonists.
It has been performed for many years on the world stages and has been made into a film called Death on the Nile in 1978 with a plethora of then well known actors. However, while the film was based on the book, the play is a rewrite of the book by Christie herself. She also changed the name of the play to Murder on the Nile.
